B i o g r a p h y

I’m a musician originally from Staffordshire but now based in South West London.

I played trumpet in high school but that went straight out of the window when the school bought a drum kit, I have now been playing for over 25 years and haven’t looked back.

I graduated from Drumtech, drum & percussion school in West London gaining a diploma with merit and the best overall student award 2005 and  have studied with tutors Chuck Sabo (Natalie Imbruglia/Shakespears Sister/XTC/Elton John), Darryn Farugia (Thriller Live/Hey Hey It’s Saturday - Australia) and Mark Heaney (The Seahorses/Gang of Four) amongst others.

With various artists/bands I have toured throughout the UK, Western & Eastern Europe and New York USA and have performed live acoustic sessions on BBC radio with various artists and whilst in New York was part of a live radio/phone link with Ben Turner on BBC radio WM. I have also performed with the Birmingham Philharmonic Orchestra and the contemporary choir ‘Notorious’, The Requiem for New York which relates to the events of 9/11 composed by Birmingham composer Stuart Stevens.
